Remembering Ruben Mendoza: A Tribute to a Beloved Son, Brother, and Friend in Peterborough, Ontario
In the heart of Peterborough, Ontario, a community mourns the loss of a cherished individual, Ruben John De Rivera Mendoza. On March 18, 2024, at the tender age of 29, Ruben’s journey on this earth came to an untimely end, leaving behind a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Born to Plato and Estrellita Mendoza, Ruben brought joy and warmth into the lives of his family and friends. His kind spirit and gentle demeanor endeared him to all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. Ruben’s brother, Kuya Justo, shared a special bond with him, and their memories together will forever be cherished.
Throughout his life, Ruben touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him. His infectious laughter, genuine kindness, and unwavering compassion illuminated the lives of those around him, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship.
As the Peterborough community mourns the loss of Ruben, they also come together to celebrate his life and the memories they shared with him. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences during the visitation, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at the Nisbett Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together and honor Ruben’s life, legacy, and the impact he had on those around him. The Mass will be held at 1066 Western Ave, offering a space for reflection, remembrance, and healing.
